As entrepreneurs ourselves, we know that it takes more than just money to develop the 'next big idea.' It takes time to explore new technologies and market opportunities. Benchmark's Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) program gives a select few of the industry's top entrepreneurs the time to think about the next move while they work with us to evaluate investments and advise portfolio companies.

Since partners at Benchmark created the EIR concept, over 20 entrepreneurs have been hosted, leading to 14 liquidity events and the creation of over $15.0 billion in market value. Alumni of the EIR program include Mike Homer, Danny Shader and Keith Krach, among others. Benchmark's Silicon Valley office is currently hosting several EIRs.
